As winter started to fade, I began to look forward to spring.
One morning, with some sunshine, Stella, my dog, and I went for our usual walk. We noticed the neighborhood was starting to shift from winter to spring, with less snow around. Stella was busy exploring everything with enthusiasm. During our walk, something simple yet significant caught my eye.
Near an old oak tree, there was a single purple crocus flower. It stood out, showing that spring was really here. This small moment made me think about how spring is a time for new beginnings and fresh starts. Spring is a great time to try new things, learn new skills, or improve relationships. It's like nature waking up and growing, and we can do the same in our own lives.
This season encourages us to clear out the old – not just clutter in our homes but also in our minds and schedules. This helps make space for new ideas and projects. Seeing the crocus and walking with Stella reminded me to embrace the change, clear out what's not needed, and look forward to new opportunities. Spring shows us that growth often comes from letting go, and it's always a good time to start fresh.
When I got to my office that same morning, I cleared my desk, straightened out my bookshelf, filed a host of papers that were piling up and reviewed my calendar. It was a great reminder that getting out of the office is so important for my mental health and my positive perspective on my business.
Happy Spring!?
Love & Light,
Susan

8 个月Happy Spring to you, Susan! What a beautiful sentiment and a fabulous reminder this moment comes around once a year when we get to see nature awaken and with that an overwhelming sense of freshness and renewal. Thank-you! The next little purple crocus I see, I shall think of you and remember...this is a time to "try new things, learn new skills and improve relationships". Beautiful!
