L&D Trends
The Great Resignation
Across the globe, millions have handed in their resignations. What role will learning play?
We know that high-quality development is a key attraction for potential talent. Additionally, current employees feel valued and engaged.
Pay is less likely to be the main attraction for people. People are looking for:
Leaders as Teachers
In 2021 we’ve seen leaders take center stage in learning and development. They’ve embraced leader-led learning as facilitators and guest speakers.
We expect to see this trend continue in 2022 and beyond. Organisations and learners are seeing the benefit of leaders delivering key messages (particularly around resilience and change), sharing personal experiences and being vulnerable.
In 2021 we have found an influx of simulation-based eLearning specifically around training software and onboarding new platforms. We expect to see a lot more in 2022 as the world moves further into the Edtech movement.
We built a demo module of awesome software simulation elearning in Articulate Storyline.
We are also seeing a lot of clients using Active Learning techniques and utilizing the power of engagement in order to enlighten and teach subject matter. We look forward to releasing some new software in 2022 to engage learners further.

Joe Rogan’s latest podcast with Peter Attia talks about the power of exercise in Human Longevity. Peter Attia always has great tricks and tips when it comes to being healthy and living a healthy existence.
Book
In his new book, Lifespan, David Sinclair has proposed a radical new?theory of?aging, suggesting that the aging hallmarks are symptoms of epigenetic changes that occur over time, but that the original genetic code remains very much intact.
A feel-good book on the science of Aging. It makes us feel hopeful that we may live longer than we ever thought possible.
