Happy President's Day!

We all know President’s Day as a celebration of the United States Presidents and their birthdays. President’s Day has a different meaning at JJ Bender. For the month of February, we celebrate our president, Jeffrey and his birthday. Jeffrey, originally from Illinois, is an avid Chicago Cubs fan and a “foodie,” seeking out the best local eateries. While in his freshman year of college at the University of Illinois, Jeffrey began selling subscriptions to the student newspaper to make a little extra cash and found much success by offering free penny candies with the subscriptions. After founding JJ Bender 41 years ago in 1980, Jeffrey still incorporates penny candy into his business model – he sends each of our customers a large box of Atomic Fireballs. Though he is the President of JJ Bender, Jeffrey also coins himself the “team cheerleader,” coaching our sales reps and pushing our team towards greatness everyday. We hope you will help us in wishing Jeffrey a Happy President’s Day, as well as a Happy Birthday, this February.
