Happy New Year!

I'll let you take a guess as to what my new year resolution is this year. Clue: You're looking at it. Yes, this is it! I'm going to commit to starting a monthly newsletter.

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for supporting my work through either purchasing books on my website, attending one of my workshops, or commissioning me to write or edit your book. What a pleasure it's been to serve you and help you in some small way.

What's your new year resolution? In case you're wondering, I'm not late. My other resolution is to take time off to relax and spend more time with family. Working myself to exhaustion needs to be a thing of the past. My body is sending me a clear message about that. I'll be no use to anybody if I'm laid up sick brought on by my own neglect.

This year, I will be running my popular workshop, How To Write and Sell Your Memoir Even if You're Not Famous in conjunction with a book tour to promote my Australian historical novel, When The Glitter Fades. I'm so proud to finally have this published, and it's receiving 5 star reviews!

The story is loosely based on Alf Broadway's Pantomime Players, combining true events with fiction to create an entertaining story based on murder and mayhem among spectacular performances. In the process I wanted to preserve Australian entertainment history and what it was like for Australians during the Great Depression.

The memoir writing workshop will give you the option to either write your memoir or spin it into a fictional story as I did with the Broadway's life as a touring vaudeville troupe. I will teach you the basics of how to get started.
