We are delighted to announce our next online fireside chat will discuss the public interest and social impact with a fantastic panel of speakers on Thursday 18th January at 8.30am UK time.?

This session is chaired by Bradley Shearer of Protagion Active Career Management, who partners with the IFoA Foundation to deliver international group mentoring for aspiring actuaries.?Bradley will be talking live to:

• Lusani Mulaudzi, professional mentor and actuary based in South Africa
• Sripriya Peddina , a past mentee and aspiring actuary based in Bengaluru, India
• Chantal Bond , IFoA Foundation Trustee and Chief Reserving Actuary for Asia Pacific at SCOR based in Singapore

The webinar is designed for actuaries at all stages of the careers and is free to all (non-IFoA members welcome!). It is part of our mentoring programme for aspiring actuaries but also aims to raise awareness of the Foundation's work and how members of the profession can get involved - as beneficiaries, role models, ambassadors, donors and fundraisers.?

Congratulations to James Kariuki , a graduate of the University of Nairobi from Kenya, who passed his second paper CS1 in September 2023 supported by a grant for exam costs.?
