Reflecting on a Dynamic 2023 at #TeamBSS
As we welcome the new year, it's the perfect time to look back and celebrate the milestones we achieved together at Business Smart Solutions in 2023. It was a year marked by growth, innovation, and the strengthening of our community.
This is also a great opportunity to acknowledge just how many of our team have taken advantage of their contractor benefits & rewards package Perkbox . In the last 12 months, nearly all subscribed users have taken advantage of the lifestyle benefits on offer with thousands of pounds with of benefits redeemed. We are so pleased to be one of the few recruitment agencies to offer a benefits package like this.
Expanding Our Horizons: 2023 was a year of expansion for #TeamBSS. Not only did we cement our reputation in Revenues & Benefits, but expanded into Housing and Training. We have our sights firmly on Parking, Highways, and Moving Traffic as we broaden our expertise and embrace new challenges. This move will not only diversify our portfolio, but also open doors to some fantastic new partnerships and opportunities.
Building Strong Relationships: Last year was significant in strengthening our connections with clients, contractors, and partners. From engaging meetups to productive conferences, we fortified existing relationships and established many new ones. Networking and collaboration is by far the thing we enjoy most about staffing and resourcing so we’re looking forward to a year full of getting out there and meeting new people.
Enhancing Skills and Knowledge: Education and continuous learning remained at the core of our values. We introduced new training programs, focusing on areas like Housing Benefit Subsidy and Welfare, empowering our team and clients with the knowledge to excel in their respective fields.
We renewed our commitment to the Institute of Revenues Ratings and Valuation IRRV by continuing to be an organisational member for 2024, successfully obtained accreditations with the BPA - British Parking Association (BPA), achieving our Cyber Essentials certification and maintained our disability confident committed employer and mindful employer status.
Memorable Events and Conferences: 2023 saw us actively participating in various industry events right across the UK. Highlights for us was the IRRV Annual Conference which we are a firm supporter of and our first time at the Local Authority Civil Enforcement Forum ( LACEF ), where our contributions and interactions helped shape the future of revenue, benefits & enforcement. These events were not just about business; they were opportunities to learn, share, and celebrate our collective passion with our community in a social environment.
Innovations and Improvements: Always striving for excellence, we implemented new systems and processes to streamline our operations to include Yoti (digital ID verification) and the #BSSHUB, our timesheet and lifestyle app.
Celebrating Together: Our year concluded with a fabulous Christmas gathering, celebrating our achievements and togetherness. It was also a time of joy, reflection, heaps of food & wine and most importantly - gearing ourselves up for the exciting journey ahead in 2024.
As we flip the page to 2024, we are filled with gratitude for the past year's experiences. It was a year of challenges, triumphs, and learning, and each step has prepared us for an even more promising year ahead.
