Happy New Year from Mountain Area Workforce Development Board!

We thank you for your support of our region's workforce development efforts over the past year to support employers, educators, job seekers and youth.

From two WNC Career Expos, two Construction Career Days, WNC Techathon, MFG Day, Land of Sky Education and Workforce Collaborative my Future NC, awards from NC State University, NC Business Committee for Education (NCBCE) and the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO), NCWorks Local Innovation award and much more, 2019 was a productive year. We look forward to making more progress in 2020 so our region has the talent needed to compete in a global economy.
