Happy New Year First Q&A of '24!

Weekly Q&A

Topics include:

* Looking to read a bit more this coming year. Looking for Recommendations on books on these 4 topics.

Sales

Negotiation

Human nature

Money

Thanks.

* What are your predictions for 2024? More specifically, what changes do you see in the agency, marketing, and influencer space?

* Hire a freelancer for a smaller task

Then a bigger one

Then an even bigger one

Build that trust then make them your go-to source for projects

* Any agencies here working with Gym owners who have proven results? Looking to white label your services…

* Frankie Fihn this might be a question for the weekly meetings.

How do I transition a prospect into FB messages that I initially connected with through cold email?

Do I just put a link to my messenger on the page with the Loom video?

PS: I'm probably making this more complicated than it is.

* Does anyone have a simple effective webinar outline they like to follow?

* Price Increases: How much notice do you give?

Specifically for services such as social media management, where we usually work 6 weeks ahead?

Ex. If I send a price increase on Jan 3 to go into effect Feb 3rd, we've already done most of the work for Feb. Is it fair to the client to give just 30 days notice?

A 30-day notice is required in the contract. I'll be changing this when they renew.

Second layer: Stair-stepping price increases

We're raising prices for existing clients, but not as high as we're selling services to new clients. We want to give our existing clients 6 months at a smaller increase before upping them to our full rate. Thoughts?

Ex. $450 service goes up to $650 for 6 mos, then to our full rate of $850, which they can lock in for one year.

* I am considering writing a book but also making it the backbone of my content strategy for the next year. Each week I create a few pieces of content for one bullet point on the outline of my book then disseminate that content across the web in the form of YouTube videos, blog posts, and social media posts. By the end of the year, I should be able to compile (or have someone compile for me) all of the blog posts I made for the year to flesh out the book.

My question for the community though is this:

Is there a specific format or outline recommended to follow when writing a book for your agency?

Ultimately I want to create one video a week on one bullet point of my book outline that can then be chopped up into smaller pieces of content in different formats and posted on all of my platforms throughout the web. That way I don't have to create a different piece of content for each platform but one piece of content that can be used on all platforms.

But I want to make sure I have the right book outline or formula to start. Obviously, I should probably do a little Amazon keyword research in advance as well to see what people are searching for in my niche.

Any articles or advice about how to write an outline for a book?
