Hey folks!
Great to be back and have you with me! I'm so honored you take the time and openness to read my features! Glad to be of service to y'all.
Clean Slate! New fresh start here I come. ?
Happy 2024 lots of health, love, prosperity and deep experiences for this new year. ?
And with is it, shortly one week into the new year, how far have we come sticking to the new year resolutions so far?
I'm revamping my offering and as some of you potentially already saw, created a new offering for the 8-9 figure CEOs who want to transform their businesses to be soul-led and unstoppable in growth and impact by unleashing their superpowers. So if you are one of these CEOs who really want to generate impact and are already among my readers and followers, or the spouse to one of these, reach out and let's get it on!
It's not a deviation from my mission but an expansion. Creating more impact on a broader scale and also stepping up, taking more responsibility and opening the doors to the startups, film production, non-profit initiatives of my ANEXO Ventures portfolio.
But enough outlook. It's about you. It's for all of my readers, followers and the people who need this kick in the but to get up and do something I decided to write this newsletter.
Back to where I started more than a year ago
More than a year ago I started this newsletter. So I'm approaching my 2nd year now. The reason why I started was simple, the results and impact I created with that and the podcast were unexpected. But what a lot overlook on that journey to becoming a newsletter publisher/blogger and podcaster is something that remains often behind the curtain. The journey - nope, and it's not woowoo or Danny's gone all esoteric - it's a journey of understanding yourself better. Knowing yourself what you CAN and what you DO NOT WANT to do. If you have an idea in your mind, for your business, have a passion about something it is not about the 'I CAN'T', it's more the question am I willing TO DO what I have as an inspiration and act upon that - or is my ego, my shame, my guilt, my old experiences holding me back.
So when I started a year ago crafting these newsletters and standing up for what I felt was right, I was like a fountain of ideas. I realized, how much I struggled in these almost 2 years with the getting it out on time, because sometimes, it's just the impulse I follow. So this year I will do that even more and follow my intuitive impulse to get the messages across to you. Might be shorter, longer, more frequent - but definitely coming from the heart, because all of you, my readers, are my responsibility! That's what I realized and I really appreciate your support in subscribing (and if you haven't please do). No, more than appreciate, it means the world to me! The next challenge I overcame was the challenge to not give a damn, how many people read my stuff, listen to it, like it, share it etc. Especially coming from a strategy consultant point of view the 'outcome' is important to me. I figured, this is when you follow your calling and build your business based on what you're here to supposed to do, unleashing the superpower, is the hardest, to not look and compare the imediate response but instead be persistent in what you do. It's like an athlete. Getting up always! Going hard on you, practice, wash, rinse, repeat. Sometimes the outcome comes with delay. But eventually you have more impact than you expect, when you do what you're truly passionate about.
Blocks are Guideposts
When you truly commit to that, well don't be surprised when everything that does not belong to your new version falls apart. It will, your relationships will change, your clients will no longer be your clients, because you might have grown out their path. You are on the next level internally and all you have to do is trust the process.
This sounds easier than done. I remember the first Design Thinking Seminar I facilitated in a corporate environment. It was entirely new to that client and they showed up in a Design Thinking Workshop like for a meeting. Even though I had requested only one person per department or discipline, as a representative - they showed up with at least 2 people one with one representative, to be present and in case one did not 'get' all of the details' the other could serve as backup. Additionally, the client requested meeting minutes, an agenda, a moderator and wanted to have it as a back-up, just in case the 'new process' did not work.
They did not trust the process. They were stuck in the old pattern. This was in 2015, so, you might argue, a long time ago. Today the most people get what Design Thinking is about, but I hope you get the analogy of this business situation.
What I did in that stuck moment was writing in bold letters on the door and on another poster in the room: TRUST THE PROCESS. Sometimes it's fuzzy, confusing, cloudy, weird, unpleasant. It get's you out of your comfort zone. Makes you feel like a child, of having a beginners mind, starting to explore again, get to the stuff you don't like - accepting it, moving on, not avoiding, but facing it.
And sometimes you hit those BLOCKS and you either start to panic, or to find a way around it. Don't Panic! (like the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy suggests) Panic is pressure, pressure is more burden and narrows your gaze, your lungs, your life force.
On the other hand, ignoring the BLOCKS and yeah, I write BLOCK in capital letters, to jump right into your face. BLOCKs are often ignored. Manoeuvred around but never really looked at. And trust me, I know what I'm talking about, I'm a master of that. Until last summer I took it as a 'Challenge to overcome' but never as a welcome opportunity to take a new route, pivot, see it as a dead end and accept that. BLOCKs deserve attention. BLOCKs deserve to be embraced. BLOCKs are actually the clearest and best guidepost you could get. It's a 're-direction' of where you are, what you want, what you need. So when you come across one - it's time to look at it and make a decision. Consider a BLOCK as a junction. You are to decide the next step and the outcome could be totally different from what you know and expect. But first, look at it and accept it. And don't try to talk it down like 'eventually they'll see my value, or the value of our business', 'it's just they don't have the money to invest in us right now, they will come back'. 'If we tweak a little our product or service and move more in the direction the clients want it to be, it'll work'. 'I'm at the wrong place, the wrong country, abroad it works better.'
Love your BLOCKs
Let's dive into our BLOCK party here! If these BLOCKs are here for a reason, there is more to it than just getting them out of the way. They have a root cause and are not there just because we have bad luck, or we are always attracting the wrong clients, partner, always ending up in narcissistic relationships or falling victim to red tape. It's there for a reason to reconsider, to REVISIT. What is this BLOCK telling me? What is it projecting to the outside? What is inside of me that needs to be looked at, that is causing that BLOCK to show up over and over again in various shapes, forms and people?
Why does our company always have these ups and downs in our sales and client projects. One year we thrive have tons of new clients, the next year the clients decline because of this or that? Why do all the investors back off last minute, or all of a sudden are ghosting us?
Gosh, it happened to me in so many shapes and forms, until I embraced and accepted it and followed my purpose. And besides the setback saw more flow than being BLOCKED by something. Even when it was just one positive feedback, one new client instead of 20 expected.
So to get there is to LOVE YOUR BLOCKs. Give it a big THANK YOU!? Because with every BLOCK, you see what does not work for you.? So in the paradox of choice you have one reason why you should not pursue on that route, but shift.? Say thank you for the journey, don’t be bitter or see it as waste of time, but embrace the BLOCK and welcome the new on the other side of this gigantic BLOCK.?

Melt the BLOCK
The block can be melted by loving it.? Looking at what is it that you need to heal inside of you first before you can move ahead.? And clearly, this has consequences on you, your environment, your company and all the responsibility you have for your family, spouse, kids, money, company, country.? See where I’m coming from?? It all starts with YOU.? Inside, under the surface, the hidden, dark parts, they become visible in the form of failing business models, lack of love, debts, wrong clients, health, problems with your spouse, kids, employees, backstabbers, law suits, loss. ?
You hit the BLOCK already.? FACTS: You didn’t get the money, the license, the house, the love interest.? You can ignore it, find an excuse or a way around it or just simply accept it, love it, and melt it from the inside.? This requires openness for a much better option than your mind could possibly see.? Because the blocks inside of us are solved with the heart and the passion that we have inside of us,? and this is what truly not finds ways but melts away what does not serve us. ?
You might ask what if I just smash it and destroy it .. think about it.? If you smash something, you’ll have tiny pieces remaining from it.? When it’s melted it’s RESOLVED.? THE BLOCK RESOLVES. ? IT’S GONE.? Peacefully, by doing the uncomfortable work and starting with your own.?
Full Circle Moment
My on-and-off relationship with corporate careers was my BLOCK.? I always was super successful in the corporate world but only to a certain point.? My soul, heart and my inherent passion and leadership I was born with, was getting to the glass ceiling.? Not financially only, but more importantly hitting BLOCKs in many different shapes.? It had in my case such a tremendous projection on my private and business life, on all levels.? You can read more on that in my book or learn from me in my other offers.? I needed those BLOCKs over and over again, to take the courage, trust the process and step up my game looking inside.? And, oh my God,? so many things happened, after I did.? Literally a whole full circle moment.? Everything was falling apart and out of this chaos into the perfect place.? The BLOCK was no longer a BLOCK because I melted it and transmuted it into experience,? piece of the puzzle,? you name it.? I’m grateful for my corporate years, I’m grateful for all the blocks in all shapes and forms, I’m grateful for loss and battles I faced along the road, cause it’s what equips me with what I do today supporting my clients to scale their 8-9 figure businesses by allowing and following their unique superpowers, serving their clients with what they love and are meant to do best.? You truly realize an impact by knowing an answer to these three major questions.? If you need help on that DM me for a 90 days exclusive 1:1.?
In this 90 days exclusive we dig deeper into these questions, work with it and find ways forward to scale your business from 8 to 9 and 9 to 10 in 12 months.? It’s a game-plan and an invitation for more to come to you, as you’re ready and willing to step into your super power and take the responsibility for what you are supposed to do. Tomorrow is the 1/11 so a great start as this number means: starting fresh, trusting your intuition, following your dreams and manifesting it.? It’s a powerful number and why not use it as a sign, that you see it right now in this newsletter to start right now with a new, fresh game-plan.? Don't wait til you hit a block, start before that if you feel this tingling somewhere in your body, or this heartbeat. If you see yourself being responsible to lead, go for it.
I have your back, when you let me.?
This year I really love to exchange more that’s why I started this newsletter in the first place. It's a mutual journey we're on, so be prepared and watch-out for a webinar, master-class and more online offering coming soon!?
Sending lots of love and clarity for 2024!
Danny

10 个月Hi Danny. Excellent piece. One that resonates with me entirely. How I overcame the BLOCK (in the face right ;)) was to create a collective named teamX, who helped in perspective for my mission, strategy, positioning, vision. This pic ought to sum it up.
