Happy New (Fiscal) Year!
Make-A-Wish? Illinois
Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Khyden's Wish for a Pool
Khyden was diagnosed with a respiratory disorder at just fifteen days old. While going through daily treatments, he has always loved being active, outside, and in the water. As soon the pool arrived, he was eager to get inside immediately, even if the pool was only filled a couple of inches. Khyden’s mother, Emily, shares that since the new addition to her backyard, Khyden and his siblings want to be outside all the time swimming morning, noon, and night!
“The pool will always be a physical representation of his wish and the continued enjoyment it has brought to our family”.
