?I'm hoping you enjoyed your new year celebration.?I know I did.?But this article isn't about me - or you.?

But?since we are on the topic of great celebrations, I think it's safe to say that the scholars of?Essence Preparatory Public School?are set to have the best year ever.?

After a theatrical grand entrance and two musical performances the Student Ambassadors of Essence Prep are more than optimistic - they are involved.

In mid-December Essence Prep founder and superintendent Akeem Brown broke ground on the school's permanent campus alongside nearly 300 friends, supporters, and scholars - who took a front row STAND and made the entire event worthwhile.?

In the coming weeks I will be supporting the scholars of Essence Preparatory Public School, with a unique focus on fundraising and corporate partnerships.?The school will host their first Essence Dream Gala and Awards on January 21st at the Red Berry Mansion.

I'll be reaching out to you really soon regarding how you can join me in this devout effort.??I'm proudly working alongside Mr. Brown, Ms. Sebastian and their team to raise $100,000 for Essence Prep?as well as identifying brands that want to grow alongside the seed that was planted at the momentous groundbreaking on December 16?(see the photos).

Whether you choose to partner - and I urge you to, this will be the best gala yet. Complete with an art gallery that will take the place of a silent auction, LIVE PERFORMANCES, fantastic food and 300 of San Antonio's top decision-makers.
