Happy National Workers Day: We Need To Remain Committed To Promoting Employee Engagement Through Deliberate Policy Implementation

National Workers Day also known as May Day officially became a public holiday on May 1, 1981, in Nigeria, precisely Kano State. The commemorative day has been regarded ever since as one to celebrate the efforts of the workforce around the country, irrespective of the sector where a worker is employed. This is significant as it tends to recognize the contributions of employees across all sectors toward economic development while ensuring that every measure is put in place to uphold the dignity of labour.
