One that?connectsneighborhoods?and people to?parks,?green spaces,?and each other.?Stretching across the cityscape, the Jones Valley Trail offers a walkable haven of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of urban life.?It?is particularly near and dear to our hearts here at Sloss Real Estate for?a number of?reasons…
1.?It connects?two of our properties by foot, bike, scooter, etc.?
Sloss Docks and Pepper Place?are?essentially connected by?the trail. We love that?people can stroll between?two?of flagship?properties on a safe, defined trail. The proximity of these two properties to the trail has been a real selling point to tenants and?helped to active the community at all times of day.?
2.?We love the organizations connected with the trail.
The Freshwater Land Trust and?Rails-to-Trails Conservancy?are two?organizations our leader,?Cathy Sloss Jones,?holds.?The Land Trust has developed the?Birmingham’s urban?trail?system?and made it a reality. The Conservancy is focused on building?community?through?promoting outdoor connectivity. All concepts integral to Sloss’?development ethos.

Urban?trails?bring?people from?diverse backgrounds?together, encourages?social interaction and creates?spaces for shared experiences. Cultivating community, dedication to urban renewal, and innovative design?have long been?company tenets.?
