Happy Mother's Day!!

I hope you had a nice Mother's Day.... Here is a tribute to my Mom, Mary Ellen... She was one fine woman!

My favorite author is David McCullough…..  and I have “followed” him over the past thirty years as he has produced some great Historical books…

Yes, I’ve read them all, so please don’t buy them for me…. But if you want to read them… be my Guest!   I have a couple if you would like to borrow them…

 David is a fantastic historian and knows how to Spin a tale and tell history in fascinating terms.

 You may recognize his voice as he was the Narrator in Ken Burn’s Civil War series…

 A truly gifted author…. And Speaker… and Historian.

 Mary Ellen loved listening and learning from David ……

 Once, We watched the his Biography of Truman and I remember we both laughed when he told the story about Harry Truman where Truman was fond of this old tree in his home town and often told it that it was doing a good job on his walks.

 Here is a short video that David recently shot that in many ways could be a tribute to Mary Ellen.
