A Boolean String

If you are looking to find people on LinkedIn who are open to new opportunities without using the Recruiter filter, use this string: ("open to work" OR "actively seeking" OR "looking for new opportunities" OR "job seeker" OR jobseeker OR "in transition" OR "seeking employment" OR "available for new challenges" OR "exploring new opportunities" OR "recently unemployed" OR "career change" OR "seeking new position" OR "open for opportunities" OR "pursuing new roles" OR "actively job hunting" OR "looking for next step")

For open web, you can use: ("open to work" OR "actively seeking" OR "looking for new opportunities" OR "job seeker" OR jobseeker OR "in transition" OR "seeking employment" OR "available for new challenges" OR "exploring new opportunities" OR "recently unemployed" OR "career change" OR "seeking new position" OR "open for opportunities" OR "pursuing new roles" OR "actively job hunting" OR "looking for next step") AND site:linkedin.com/in

At the time of this search, there were 68,000 results on Google.

Just add some titles and/or keywords to the string to narrow down the search for the role you are hiring for!

Tips and Tricks for Talent Acquisition Folks and Job Seekers

Tip #457: If you recruit for the pharma/biotech industry, make sure to check out BioPharmGuy to learn all about the different biotech companies!

Tip #458: When you are interviewing recent graduates for roles with multiple openings, ask them who else they know. Reassure them that they wouldn’t be interviewing against them, they instead could be working alongside them at your company.

All 458 tips and tricks can be found at the following links:

If you aren’t following me on LinkedIn, hit that follow button as I often share the TA job postings that others share. These postings that I share come from Martin Ngo , David Marr, Swati Soni , Haley O’Neil , Alexandru Gotoi , Tawfiq Abu-Khajil , Alan Gomes , Amy Packard Checketts , David Valencia , Caitlin Cooke , Ebony Taylor , Steve Jacobs , Shirley Schaff , Martel Howard .

As a reminder, none of these people are responsible for the jobs, they are just sharing roles they have come across. So, make sure to hit that apply button but remember they can’t help you much past that point. Oh, and make sure to not just use Easy Apply, you must also apply on the company website.

Don’t forget to follow these awesome people on LinkedIn, so you can keep up with their posts. And hit that Share button, so you can help others like you!
