Happy Introverts Week!

Happy Introverts Week!

I founded National Introverts Week in 2018 to help confront the stigma associated with introversion and to celebrate the inherent strengths and qualities that make introverts such a dynamic and successful part of our world.

It's been my mission to help introverts all across the world realize that we are not second-class citizens, that our path to success is just different to that of an extrovert.

Which is why, also in 2018, I launched The Introvert's Edge Podcast and published the first book in the bestselling Introvert's Edge series. I'm excited to say that since its release, it has sold over 40,000 copies.

But that's not actually what has me so excited.

What I'm really thrilled about is just how many posts I see from proud introverts, every single day, who are discovering that they actually have an edge in all so-called extroverted arenas.

It's also been great to see so many new introvert coaches pop up all over the world.

In fact, for Global Introverts Day this past January, I shared a post to recognize a group of introvert coaches, mentors and authors who are doing a lot to support this rapidly growing community.

This post blew up, partly because it was shared by Susan Cain, author of the amazing book Quiet (which put a spotlight on the topic of introversion) and partly because of the thousands of other introverts out there actively supporting those in the introverted space.

Now, for Introverts Week, I thought I'd post a more complete list for you, but as the number of introvert coaches has grown greatly, it quickly went over the LinkedIn character limit for a post. So, this time, I've decided to publish the list as an article. This way I can also continue to add to it as new amazing coaches, mentors, and authors come onto the scene. (If I've missed anyone, please tag them in the comments below.)

Before I get to the list, two quick things.

  1. Did you know that I recently published the sequel to The Introvert's Edge? It's called The Introvert's Edge to Networking, and it's already been listed as the #1 Networking Book for Introverts by UpJourney. I'd be honored to hear your thoughts. Click here if you'd like to check out the first chapter free.
  2. Have you heard about the Quietly Influential Summit, founded by Fifi Mason? This year for National Introverts week, I decided to throw my support behind it by co-hosting it with her.?It's a totally free event, and it's still underway. Click here to check it out.

Ok, now for the list of introverted coaches, mentors and authors.

It's a complete fabrication that people in people facing jobs are extroverts anyway. Many of the best salespeople I worked with, many of the coaches I know and a surprisingly large cohort of speakers are introverts. For sure, they might have that protective extrovert exterior but they are full on introverts.
