Happy International Mind-Body Wellness Day!

Happy New Year and Happy International Wellness Day 2022! We can all agree, it has been a wild year as we continue dealing with Covid-19 and the global pandemic. These last two years have been massively challenging for us as individuals and as a nation. The wellness of our minds and bodies were challenged daily while worrying about loved ones, spending more time at home, and building new daily routines.

While everything around us is out of our control, we can take the time each day to navigate what’s going on inside of us. Mental and emotional wellness can not only affect your physical body, but it can affect your productivity, your sense of self-worth, and your ability to cope. If this adjustment has been difficult for you or you just want to implement new habits to flow with the new year, then keep reading for some tips on maintaining your mental wellness while working remotely.

1.????Take advantage of your flexible schedule!

Working from home has eliminated the morning rush and afternoon slump. You now have the time to focus on your productivity while simultaneously working on other things throughout the day. Start your laundry and let it wash while you’re sending out emails. Use the time that you would be commuting to do a quick morning workout and chug a glass of water. The options are limitless!

2.????Decorate your home office

They say a clear space breeds a clear mind. Set up your home office in a way you would be proud of. Invest in a comfy chair, put up colorful LED lights, buy a plant. Organize your desk as a haven for your productivity, creativity, and mental health.

3.????Get outside!

Some say “work from home” but the better term is “working remotely” because you have the option to work from anywhere (especially if you’re using UltraLinq). Take a drive to your best friend’s place and spend a few days there or go to a coffee shop and spend a few hours working. 4.????Restore your good habits.
