Happy ICAO's 75th anniversary with its former French Secretaries general!

This week, at the ICAO EUR/NAT office, I had the pleasure of celebrating ICAO's 75th anniversary with its two former French Secretaries General: Yves Lambert (1976-1988) and Raymond Benjamin (2009-2015).

And for an historical picture, we pose together in front of the photo of the 3rd French one: Albert Roper, who was actually the very 1st one SG in ICAO's history (1944-1951), after having previously been the first and only Secretary General of the International Commission for Air Navigation (ICAN), ICAO's predecessor (1922-1947) - see : https://www.icao.int/secretariat/SecretaryGeneral/Pages/biography-secretary-general-roper.aspx.

Will there be another French SG in the coming years? In any case, ICAO can fully rely on the commitment of France and the DGAC to continue to make aviation an ever safer and more environmentally friendly mode of transport that connects people.
