What has your journey at Momentum Energy been like??

I started at Momentum as a Customer Care Agent in July 2020 and since then I've had many opportunities to grow and learn new skills. In May 2021 I moved into a Customer Care Specialist role supporting the team with escalations as well as being a go-to for all energy related questions about our business and residential customers. Shortly after this appointment I jumped at the opportunity to continue my development and stepped into a secondment role as Multi Channel Team Leader. I'm now responsible for leading the Service functions and other digital services for the retail business, and supporting the delivery of Momentum's strategic objectives.

What do you love the most about your role??

I love all the challenges that my current role, the industry and the business dish?out to me. As a leader being able to provide genuine care and support to my team is super rewarding!

What are your top three tips for literally dressing for success??

• Power suits – I'm all about being practical while looking good. Get yourself a staple wardrobe of comfortable power suits. It will save you so much time!?
• Limited shoes (I only have 5 pairs of shoes) – less options, more efficiency, more time for getting things done.
• Only spend $40-$50 per outfit – more money for more outfits!

My favourite shops are Kmart, Shein and Boohoo. I am terrible at dressing myself casually, I am a business gal!

What makes you happy about working at Momentum Energy??

The energy in our call centre is unreal, unlike any work place I have been in before. The constant banter, uplifting and collaborative culture is so special to experience every day.

I do enjoy being the funniest person in the workplace, sharing life stories, playing pool and listening to how bad someone is at sport ;).

It makes me so happy that we get to experience a new office refurb, contribute to big projects and to help evolve and grow the company while gaining tools to set us up for our career aspirations!
