- What is one thing that you value most about Momentum Energy??The people. I've met some of my closest friends while working here and I've also been given some amazing opportunities by way of internal career progression. I started out in the Keeping Momentum Hardship Team and from there went onto Life Support and Concessions, then to the Customer Engagement Analyst role and now my current role. The People Leaders past and present gave me the opportunity and took a chance on me.
- What interested you to join the Marketing team??I was really wanting a role that offered career growth, was completely different to anything I had done before, and was going to challenge me, but in a good way!
- For those who are less clear about your Marketing role, what does a day in the life look like for you??Honestly, every day is a little different to the one before and that is something that I really value within this role and team. One day I could be working on month-end budget reconciliations and accruals and the next I'm helping to source a grass scented candle for a Geelong Cats giveaway or hot sauce and mini footballs for the Danger Zone at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong!
- What are the most challenging/enjoyable aspects of your role??Sometimes I feel like a professional pest to try and get things through that are on a timeline, but I don't know if that's really a challenge and just part of the role that you have to manage.?Enjoyable aspects would be that I get to work with some amazingly talented and creative people and love just sitting back and absorbing every piece of knowledge or idea that they put out. That and it's insane to be part of a?team that can come up with such incredible ideas for a campaign or sponsorship event and then actually be part of the process and see it come to life. Very cool.
- Describe yourself in 3 words:?Clean freak…ok that's not 3 words, but I'm 100% a clean freak.
- What is your favourite thing to do with your spare time??Right now, it's coming up with a million different home improvement projects to do around my house. I've got a lot of ideas and a lot of Pinterest boards and I'm pretty sure my partner is dreading the next few months with all the painting I'll be having him help me with. Also I have a lively (sometimes insane) chocolate Labrador puppy, so I do love taking her on walks and over to the dog parks to burn off some energy.
