Happy Hour Abides

Over twenty years ago, as Portland Internetworks was just getting off the ground, a group of friends met each week at a local dive bar, The Slammer Tavern, to share stories of the week, enjoy some salty stories, and take advantage of cheap beer prices and tacos. That tradition lived on for years and eventually turned into a monthly informal and inclusive Happy Hour event where we invite friends, customers, prospects, job candidates, vendors, partners and all others to share stories and expand our social networks. While we still call The Slammer "home turf", we've started changing venues so as to get some varied scenery and ease the traffic burden for some who are traveling from the outer reaches.
