Not an?Optimist?was stirring, not even for?snacks.?

The reports were uploaded to the cloud with care,

and confidence that positive ROI would be there.?

Our Barketers were nestled all snug in our laps,?

As our search team reviewed a few last sitemaps.?

When out from our phones there arose such a clatter,

Social sprang to see what was the matter.?

Unlocked and app opened, they flew like a flash.?

As Ops gave them energy from one last DoorDash.?

When to our wondering eyes were awestruck,?

To see new social networks, not made by?Zuck.?

As the algorithms change so lively and quick,?

We'll see in 2023 if any of them stick.?

More rapid than 5G, new platforms have come.?

We stitch them, and share them,?

and as they fight for our thumb.?

"Now Meta, now TikTok, now BeReal on our Screens,?

On Google, on Figma, get onto our Machines."

We spoke not a word, all our designs green.?

As we filled up our feeds with all of the memes.?

You'll hear us explain, as we turn off the light.?
