We wanted to thank each and everyone for your ongoing support. We have so much to be thankful for this year, starting with you, our loyal customers.
In this past year, we have completely revamped our website and all of our messaging to be focused on you, through your stories. We call them fondly eVESTimonials.
In addition, we have gone back to our roots by focusing on the line of eVESTs. This concept was first introduced when we started in 2001, but abandoned quickly as we diversified into many other products. But we believe that by focusing first and foremost on our core products, the eVESTs (with or without sleeves and hoodie edition), allows us to do one thing well.
This past year, we have also:
-Launched our Loyalty program encouraging and rewarding more purchases
-Introduced several new key products - Rev and soon Essential 2.0, upgraded versions of old favorites
-Introduced a tagline It’s not rocket science, it’s pocket science.
-Upgraded our website to make reordering much easier
-More/better images and videos throughout the website
-Improved significantly our customer service by extending our hours and making live chat more available
-Brought back many memories in the Memory Lane section
-Leaned into Amazon fully by showing which products are available on Amazon directly on our website
-Revamped our email marketing significantly so when we are in your inbox it isn’t just about a sale, but rather sharing customer stories and other relevant, interesting information
-Completed a print catalog in a record 7 days
-Produced a new tv commercial
-finally, after a decade of trying, launched our Gift Cards
We did all this with a small and very dedicated staff of only 6 full time people located here in Ketchum, Idaho, with an extended family of great contractors throughout the nation and the world.
In the coming year, we intend to continue on our journey of improving the customer experience and the products. Scott will be hitting the road to meet more customers like he used to in the early days, starting in January in NYC for the NY Times Travel and Adventure show. Who knows, perhaps he will jump in the OLD Bus with a poodle or two and visit your town.
We also intend to begin what we call the Pocket Science Academy whereby through a series of informational videos we will be providing tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your eVESTs.
In closing, we wish everyone happy holidays and want to thank you for giving us the trip of our lives by making the world just a little better one pocket at a time.
