Happy Holidays 2015!

Happy Holidays 2015!

It's that time again when I have the great pleasure to wish people a very Happy Christmas.  This time of year naturally causes you to look back at the year that has passed so quickly and reflect on things achieved, ambitions not yet realised and the people met and learned from.

In the last 12 months I have had the great pleasure of working with clients and colleagues on a number of interesting projects.  The year started with a review of five of the largest stations in the USA and included the examination of the development of transport infrastucture in Mexico and the role and capabilities of the proposed rail regulator.  I have had the pleasure of continuing to offer advice on rail freight concessions and regulation in Brazil.

Here in the UK I have welcomed the opportunity to support the rail industry's efforts to take forward its 2,500 railway stations through the establishment of a national vision for stations and offer advice to a number of practical operational issues that transport operators face including the challenge of managing increased demand.

It's been a highly enjoyable and rewarding year and my thanks to all those I have had the pleasure of working with.  2016 looks like it's shaping up to be a similarly interesting year and I hope that it'll allow me to see many more of my Linked-In contacts in person.

In the meantime let me wish you and your loved ones a very peaceful holiday season and a rewarding 2016.

Best wishes,

Mike
