Happy Hanukka

The Festival of Lights, better known as Chanukah, symbolizes the everlasting power of life, a power existent far beyond the here and NOW!

We are all familiar with the ancient tale of the oil lamp that miraculously lasted for 8 days; this is beyond a wonderful happening; it exceeds the laws of nature - a miracle.

Many gather around the holiday table to celebrate the presence of light in their home while lighting the Menorah. 

While light is the central theme of Hanukkah, it should also be an integral part of our daily lives.

What's is this light we are speaking of?

This Light is none other than the light coming from the King of the universe, the infinite and eternal Creator, God. 

This Light exists everywhere and in everything - a positive force of love, happiness, and all the goodness that exists in the world.

On the following eight nights, we will have the opportunity to connect to this force of light; absorb within the power of love, hope, and optimism. 

The more we believe and crave its presence, the more it will continue to grow-making us stronger and more powerful, as well as enabling us to remove all darkness from our lives.

The light overcomes darkness: we win when focusing on the good, even if it seem as though all hope is lost. 

Yes, even if we think that we cannot bring ourselves to take action or if we completely lost the desire to try. Nonetheless, we must never forget that one tiny light can turn on hope, and turn off worry.

We must always remember the existence of this eternal Light, that when ignited within us, our spirits awaken! We have the power to eliminate all negativity from our lives.

When all seems bleak and gloomy, we must never give up, because from the greatest darkness the brightest of lights is revealed. 

May the glimmer and glow of each candle you light, bring blessings, warmth, many miracles and make your day bright! Amen!
