NASA’s Webb Takes Star-Filled Portrait of Pillars of Creation

The space agency likened the image of the ancient?gas and dust?to a ghostly hand. This week's image was captured by the James Webb telescope's?mid-infrared instrument camera. The Pillars of Creation is in the Eagle Nebula, about 6,500 light years away.
