Happy Friday from Cheil NZ
Useful days, Fridays.
?
They stop Thursdays and Saturdays from colliding.
?
Okay, that’s not original to me. But the sentiment is true.
?
It’s a common greeting at the end of the week. “Happy Friday!” And it is a happy day.
?
We spend roughly 5/7s of our lives at the office or working from home. So, it’s natural we look forward to those well-earned two days off to recharge. That’s not to say the work stops. Indeed, I’ve had some great ideas while singing in the shower on a Saturday morning.
?
At Cheil, our colleagues’ mental wellbeing is a high priority. And it’s not just because happy employees are more productive. Empathy and understanding go a long way in this business. Understanding people, from colleague to consumer, is what we do best.
?
So, it makes sense to celebrate Fridays. Around 3pm the pace slows down a bit as we ease into the weekend.
?
The cheeseboard comes out. Bevvies are opened. Board games are won. Mario Kart is lost. And somewhere in the middle, work still goes on.
?
It’s a chance to reflect on the week – the highs, the lows, the wins, the occasional not-so-wins.
?
Maybe you can join us sometime if you’re in the area.
?
Until then, here’s to Friday. Enjoy it. I know I will.
