"Hi! It’s me, Simone, the Park Avenue poodle, wishing a fantastic Easter and Passover!
Here is my special holiday poem, as dictated to Frank, my dog walker’s I-Phone. Hope you enjoy, and it's perfect for human and canine girls and boys:
'Hello to cute bunnies with fluffy tails and floppy ears, since Easter is almost here.
My, oh my, vivid and pastel colors catch my eye. Easter eggs are quite pretty in hues of pink, light green, yellow, orange, and blue.
There are also eggs with speckles and designs that are mighty fine.
Dainty straw baskets look great and are so much fun to decorate.
Take your pick of chocolate bunnies and sweet marshmallow chicks.
Baby chicks are so cute, too. Yahoo!
Peep flavors are galore in the stores. Cotton Candy, Watermelon, and Chocolate are some of the flavors that entice. And for those who count calories, there’s even Sugar Free!
It will be dandy when children find the Easter eggs and candy,
I’ll stand on my hind legs and look for pooch-friendly candy rabbits.
Carob bunnies for dogs will fly out the door. So, what are the chocolatiers waiting for? Better yet, please make chocolate conducive for pets.
I will try the bunny hop, but I have four legs, not two. Even though I'm a graceful poodle, I guess it’s better for human kids to do.
I’ll stroll with my poodle beau, Ricardo. He will spin me, and we’ll prance, and dance. Ah, the allure of romance. Next comes kisses on my paw and cheek, and strokes on my hair. My sweet and dashing pup always cheers me up.
Frank, my dog walker, will keep his eye on my Chihuahua walking partner, Mojito, who will be looking for stale Fritos.
Is it possible for Mojito to ever find one girlfriend? Please, make Mojito’s annoying yapping end.

The delusional little thing thinks he’s Park Avenue’s king! Insists he is the greatest dog alive and wants a huge group of wives. It’s a broken record and by far, the craziest thing I have ever heard.
In the park I expect to see an Easter bunny again that greets us all, but I have never seen a rabbit so tall. He’s very big, or is it a man dressed in a costume and a wig?
Mom and dad will join us for the walk and will have a nice talk.
Fifth Avenue is the perfect venue for the Easter Parade with people and furry friends parading in snazzy hats. We will watch the parade on Sunday, and I can’t wait -- It will be great!
Mojito said his people might dress him up as a flower. Yes, a floral Mojito who will be far from incognito.
Jorge, Ricardo’s human and our chef, to the rescue. Jorge made chocolate bunnies that are yummy. He bought the molds from a popular Upper East Side store, and we poodles will get carob versions.
Jorge also baked delicious Easter cupcakes and cakes.
We’ll have a small soiree for Easter at home on Park Avenue with the fam, and Jorge has prepared many scrumptious foods and sweets for doggies and people. Some of our canine and human pals might stop by for a dessert sampling and to say ‘Hi!’
Raymond and Grace are making me a special Easter basket with colored eggs and canine treats. But when will they make doggie Peeps?
Mojito will have an Easter dinner with his pet parents, who are doctors. I hope he is mellow and doesn’t act like his usual very temperamental fella. His people should give him CBD treats to calm him down.
Easter, Passover, and Spring make you appreciate everything.
Pets and humans: I hope you enjoy Easter, and to everyone who celebrates Passover, a happy holiday to you!’
P.S. First dog photo: Mojito is in love after just one look at an adorable terrier wearing bunny ears! The nutty Chihuahua imagines adding her to his long list of prospective girlfriends for his harem, but not one pooch has Mojito ever met (except moi) or kissed!
Mojito exclaimed: ‘She’s it!’ after seeing a pic of a long-haired Chihuahua sitting in an Easter basket.”
