Feeling All the Feels of Recognition at Pacesetter
I am thrilled to have joined the Pacesetter team this year in early November as the team’s Marketing Manager. After my first day, I knew there was much more to Pacesetter than awards and gifts. Much more.
This week, I attended my first all-company meeting. Leadership presented the team with high-level updates on necessary business and an outline for the New Year. We were told that some anniversaries would be honored for tenured employees and lunch would follow.?While I have been a part of an anniversary celebration for co-workers before, never this authentic or meaningful.
During the meeting, I could feel this group's inclusive nature, the comradery of these team members, and the genuine pride and gratitude that leadership has for the great people they employ.?
Five years, twenty years - EVEN thirty years of service were honored yesterday. My favorite part??Awards were given out to recognize several individuals who exemplified Pacesetter’s Core Values:?Easy to Work With, Attention to Detail, Willing, Solutions Oriented and Committed.
Though these #values have been at the core of who Pacesetter is as a company for a very long time, they are also being explicitly highlighted and recognized. It was incredibly motivating to see my colleagues rewarded for earnestly displaying the values that help set this company apart from so many.?
Recognition of team members' hard work and dedication gives us a clear vision of what a year of success at Pacesetter will look like. In so doing, it reaffirms our commitment to our core values and to working together as a united team. I am confident that with the sense of motivation and unity displayed at yesterday’s meeting, we will be able to accomplish many great things.
It was a truly uplifting and inspiring space to be in, and I left the meeting feeling a deep sense of pride in our company, which is quickly feeling more like home base every day. I’d like to say a big thank you to every member of the Pacesetter family and give a shout-out to everyone who was lifted up by our team yesterday!?#SetThePace
