The Festival of lights is a Hindu festivity that is known as Diwali/ Deepawali.
This festival is a celebration of light over darkness.
This festival usually lasts for a week and is celebrated during the Hindu calendar month of Kartik.
This festival time reinforces, bonds broken relationships & reconnects with all our family members, relatives?& friends together to celebrate, and distribute sweets & happiness all around us.
We illuminate our house with oil lamps and dazzling lanterns at night.
The ladies of the house cook delicious food and share them with all family members & neighbors.
According to Hindu mythology, Lord Rama returned home to Ayodhya on this day after assassinating the demon king Ravana.
Upon the arrival of their king, the residents of the city of Ayodhya lighted the streets and their houses with oil lamps to commemorate the occasion.
The festival teaches us that good always wins over evil and that we must eradicate darkness with light within us.
?Diwali festivity has also been correlated with bursting crackers, and playing cards, which is not in the true spirit of the festival.
Our benevolent intellects are well-equipped with the ethos of social and behavioral patterns that forms & bond relationships with people around us.
All around the atmosphere is full of exhilaration & happiness during the festival season.
