Deepavali invites us to ignite not only the external lamps but also the sacred flame within each of us and our human race.

Consider the intrinsic qualities of a flame. It rises, defying gravity, just as we must rise up above the darkness of ignorance.

“In every heart, there lies a lamp of wisdom, waiting to illuminate the world.”

Even in the deepest and darkest pit, the flame seeks the light, and so do our human souls - to Live and Thrive in higher states of consciousness.

Along with lighting the diyas (lamps) outside, light the lamps within you. And light them after purifying yourself as we humans should be governed by sacred and noble qualities. This calls for triple purity of Body, Mind, and Speech ~~~ Trikarana Shuddhi (purity of the three instruments).?

Let Deepavali be the season of festivities not just in India but around the globe, sparking the flames of L I G H T? within us to drive away darkness everywhere and connect us all to celebrate the rich culture of kindness and joy.

If darkness in all its forms are to be dispelled, we need a container, oil, wick, and a match — corresponding to what an external lamp needs.?

For us humans,?

the Heart is the container.?

The Mind is the wick.?

Love is the oil, and?

vairagya (sacrifice) is the matchbox. When you have these four, Atma-jyothi (Your Inner Spirit) shines effulgently.?

When this Inner Lamp is aflame,?

the Light of Knowledge appears and dispels the darkness of ignorance with Love.

During this auspicious Deepavali,?

"Light your Inner Lamp and light as many lamps in the world. Feed it with the oil of devotion; with steadfastness of the wick. Let the lamp illuminate every moment & every step of your life and of others."

Feed your flame with the oil of devotion, and

let your steadfastness serve as the wick.

Allow this light to illuminate each moment, guiding your steps and those of others towards joy and peace.

May your inner L I G H T and your higher consciousness banish the darkness outside, inspiring compassion and understanding in every interaction.?
