Agency News - our favourite positive updates from the past month

December is the time of the Gift Guide, and we’ve been working hard in the months leading up to it; pitching away to make sure our clients and their amazing products don’t get drowned out by all the noise of the festive season but instead stand out. Everyone’s favourite AI-powered bird feeder, Bird Buddy, is a great example: the smart product has been smashing our Gift Guide records left and right, appearing in a whopping 74 of them so far.

It’s also the season for office Christmas parties! Our team has attended two so far - one with our lovely hosts at Engine Shed in Bristol where we’re based (with pizza and karaoke) and one just with the OggaDoon family, where we headed to the pub (for a festive meal then some board games).?

Last but not least, we were delighted to announce that OggaDoon was recently recognised as one of the Top Digital Marketing Agencies by the esteemed SuperbCompanies platform. AI - it’s big, but can only get bigger

Artificial Intelligence is gearing up for an unprecedented surge in 2024, as enhanced algorithms will delve deeper into consumer behaviour and help brands transform their marketing strategies even further. We’re particularly excited to see the influence of automation on the booming HealthTech sector - one of the industries we expect to continue growing exponentially and become an even larger part of our everyday lives.

The brave new world(s) on Social Media

From the increasing rise of virtual influencers, to the ever-changing power balance between new and old (and rebranded) platforms, the crazy world of Social Media marketing shows no signs of calming down in 2024.

We expect to see increased ad spends, LinkedInfluencers, and more moves by TikTok towards becoming the leading platform when it comes to marketing on social media channels. We’ve covered their out-of-phone ads and partnerships with HubSpot and Ticketmaster on our blog before, and expect to see more innovations from them in the B2B and B2C landscapes in the future.
