Happy Computer Security Day
This is Computer Security Day. Here is a short checklist provided for my novice friends and a reminder to those who are not. It is not a complete list, but it provides the basics.
1. Make sure your anti-virus program is up-to-date
2. Reset passwords (make them strong)
3. Back-up your stuff (I know it's a pain, but how long has it been and how much are you willing to lose)
4. If you leave your computer on all the time, Reset It (complete power-down including modem).
5. Ensure all updates and patches are current.

9 年You're probably right Jayme Paul Smith. Another fault of IT folk is the "I Am Invincible!" attitude (e.g., Boris in GoldenEye)
