Happy Children's Day 14 Nov. 2022

Happy children's day to all of you. May this child within everyone who is beyond the hatred, and love, who is curious, innocent, honest and lovely always remain alive. Whenever we see children; we find them mostly beautiful, cute and tend to take them in our shoulders regardless of their biological identity. Our sorrows, miseries, and unpleasantness goes away when we spent the quality time with children. Children are considered the embodiment of divine, truthfulness, chastity, affection, and honesty. These are the virtues that we all need to inculcate.

Always keep alive the child inside you! When we grow older we get to know and experience many things from our family, friends, school, and society. In a bid of becoming successful the child within us somewhere starts disappearing. We tend to become more introvert, terse, austere in nature, and a bit selfish towards our interests. We feel humiliation whenever we encounter the situations when we are asked about something that we don't know. With passage of time the will and curiosity witin us struggle with the our ego. Which don't let us to be humble, happy and receptive. "Child" here means; naturality, truthfulness, divinity, innocence and curiosity that help to elevate the life of human beings in the every walk of life and lead them towards not only materialistic success but also towards ultimate and absolute truth that brings everlasting joy and happiness in our life.

I celebrate Children's day by spreading happiness amongst children around me. I sit with them, laugh with them, eat with them…crack jokes…wish them and make them realize that it is their day. Because, I have younger sister and brother who are just like my kids to me…so I understand the feelings of kids very well that sometimes they just don't want any lessons, any orders, any kind of gyan about anything…. . They just wants to be themselves sometimes. Like whatever they are, whatever they want to do…or don't want to do anything or whatever.

So, in short I let them be themselves. This is the best we can do or special we can do on children's day in order to celebrate it. Because otherwise, they are burdened with lots of things every other day…School Teacher ki baatein, books ka Gyaan, mummy papa ke orders ya unki daant, kuch nahi to games ya TV se milne wala uncessary ka stuff etc etc. Kabhi kabhi bachhon ko baccha na samjha jaaye aur bas ek Jeevan ki tarah jeene diya jaaye, ek phool ki tarah khilne diya jaaye bas wahi hai unka children's day.

Children's Day has meant nothing more to me for years than a day when we could wear colour clothes to school and participate in competitions. I know it is meant to be a day to focus on pressing issues like child labour and sexual exploitation, but we have never been truly exposed to all that activism. We have only celebrated Children's Day, as a day to glorify Nehru, without even knowing why. Speaking of my childhood, it's been comfortable, normal and even luxurious, but not enjoyable.

This is something that we should focus on as a pressing need during Children's Day and other awareness programs. The need to maintain a wholesome environment where a child can grow in peace and happiness, not play referee. It means just a symbolic hypocritical day now.Every day some child is abused, raped or subjected to violence in our homes, schools and streets. In a land where the Krishna's birth is celebrated and the baby krishna worshipped it is ironical that a child is abused so badly.

The happy state of a child is the measure of the society's mental health. In our days we never had schools this long or far now we send children to exotic schools that are so far away from the comfort of homes. Its so cruel and unforgivable that you rob children of their childhood happiness and let them grow into sickening adults. All the adults live their dreams through them. Children now remind me of Bonsai !They are replicas of adults in attire and attitude. They are losing innocence at an alarming rate.We as children planted trees on Children's day and the school used to calle it Vanamohàtsava. Cheers!
