Happy Birthday to YOLO

Today marks 1st Birthday for Yolo. First is always special; there is something new with every first. And for Yolo, the first birthday is here. Shailesh Gupta & Mukul Shah who imagined this first birthday before anyone could. Congratulations to you both. And the first employee of the company Gagandeep Saini. Probably the first one to believe them and join the journey.

Vision

I believe the founders can see the forest while others see the trees in the woods. The thought process makes a vast difference. They can see the bigger picture. At the same time, many cannot of us who cannot see the forest but should join those who can. I am lucky that I have joined Yolo. And very often hear the vision of the yolo from the founders. Vision gives direction to the team whey they are stuck.

Team

As always with every company. The company is as reliable as the team is. They are building blocks of any company. They do the execution which might look small, but it is most important—executing what the founders' vision task lies in the team they hire.

Culture

I believe that culture starts with the founders. Our founders believe in the vision and team, which has created a culture where the team enjoys solving the problems daily and enjoy the process of solving it. And we love feedback. Feedback is the breakfast of champions. The culture of Yolo is building great champions.

Impact

Having all the above, Yolo could do something which is impacting daily life. Even during the pandemic, we have launched four new routes. And operated buses for migrants to reach home. Have created 1M+ Smiles till now in the last 12 months. And we are bringing the new way of Inter-city Bus Travel.

Investors

There is a team which believes you and supports you. It will be investors, family & friends. Who will be the happiest when you succeed. And also give the team the support.

I believe Yolo had all these five great pillars.

And I believe in the coming ten years they will create Billion+ smiles.
