Happy Birthday Mr. Gandini!
There are many books and press articles and even more television shows that have spoken of the genius of the one who revolutionized the world of automotive Design, Mr. Marcello Gandini.
It is for this reason that I would no longer talk about his talent and his brilliant professional career. Today he will celebrate his 85th birthday and I would like to take the opportunity to wish him a happy birthday, a very special birthday. To wish him having not just a great and wonderful day but also a wonderful year throughout. Happy birthday Mr. Gandini!
It is less to the creator of the Lamborghini Countach LP 500 and the Lamborghini Miura or even the concept cars Lancia Stratos Zero and Alfa Romeo Carabo that I would like to wish all the best but especially to the person who invited me to his home in the suburbs of Turin in 2014. I remember his warm welcome and that of his wife Claudia on that day on August 23, 2014.
We spent the day talking about our common passion for Design and a very special car that made us plunging back into the 70s - the Ferrari 308 GT4. Whatever the Ferraristis, it was at Bertone and under the pencil of Marcello Gandini that the GT4 took shape.
I therefore pay tribute to the man who forever marked my childhood. I remember Lamborghini posters hanging on the walls of my bedroom and the designer's creations on my shelf.
Thank you for the pleasant moment we spent together in your beautiful villa. May God bless you with health, wealth and prosperity in your life

A beautiful picture also showing not only both of you smiling and having fun, but also the child in you being happy for a dream come true.
