Happy all the holidays...

Happy all the holidays...

1.??????This Week's Hot Tip

We are a few short days from a brand-new year.?Every year, we see this enthusiasm for changing our lives and achieving new goals. Some of us set the same goals year after year with little to no progress.?By mid-January, that spirit has faded back into the status quo. Here are a few quick tips to help you stick to your goals.

  1. ?Pick one high-impact goal for the year.?The consistency, discipline, and time management it takes to achieve a meaningful goal will have a natural ripple effect in other areas of your life.
  2. ?Make sure you actually set a goal.?When it is vague and nebulous, it is hard to make a plan, stick to the plan and track your progress. Try this format.?I will *desired outcome* by *desired date*.
  3. Embrace that you are delightfully human.?It will take you 33 to 66 days to develop new habits and roughly 90 days before you see results.?Invest in a coach to get through those tough few days.

2. Holiday Gathering Game Recommendation:

… I Should Have Known That!?It is a fun and fast-paced trivia game about things we should probably know.?It doesn’t have long involved rules or strategy, so it’s an easy game to play with a multi-generational group.

5. Ask Keita:

Q: Hello Keita!?I didn’t hit my revenue goal this year.?I am feeling pretty frustrated about it.?What are your suggestions as think through goals for next year?

?A: I suggest spending a few minutes conducting a year-in-review before you start planning for next year.?Let’s have clear visibility into what worked and what didn’t.?You may find you simply have to do more of what works or you can put more emphasis on designing a business that you love.

I have included a link to download our Year in a Review worksheet.

I hope you enjoyed your 5-minute break today. If you want to develop your strategy for the New Year, I would like to invite you to have a call with me.

Let's get after it!
