Life & Mindset Coach for Business Owners & Leaders | ?? Podcast: The Leader's Table-Powerful Conversations That Matter
Wishing you the restoration and celebratory weekend we ALL deserve in this country we call the United States of America.
If there is anything I have learned from coaching, conversations are powerful.
In light of our current events around ALL the things: CoVid, our economy and racial injustice, remember conversations ARE POWERFUL. We can change things, understand others, support others one conversation at a time.
I’m taking time each week to listen to my black and white colleagues in an intentional group conversation each week about racism. It’s raw, it’s uncomfortable and it’s life changing because it is helping me see my imprinting, beliefs from my upbringing that require discovery for me to change.
As a coach, I’m all about seeing what makes me tick, what causes me to say, think or believe something. It’s so simple, one conversation, reading insightful articles, listening to some great YouTube channels and podcasts. Turns out listening in on others conversations is helpful, too.
It’s not overwhelming when you take this journey one conversation at a time. Of course (I’m smiling) because that’s what coaching is!!!!
Sending love to you all this fine holiday. Do Not Lose Heart, dig in and do what you can do, one conversation at a time and we can be a part of healing our land.

Here are some of my favorite resources that I’ve leaned into. If you’re on this journey as well, just get started don’t let overwhelm and discomfort stop you. This learning and work is vital and it feels lifegiving to me when my heart tries to veer towards feeling hopeless.
Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man (YouTube Show-4 shows are published)
Trevor Noah Dominos conversation
Podcast with VP at Texas Instruments (Corporate Impact of Racism)
I’m starting the workbook with a group Me and White Supremacy as well.
