Happy 45th Birthday To My Pastor, Teacher

It all started when I saw and read one of your Facebook posts, it was so enlightening that I made up my mind to push the friend request button.

That day, it seems I have just found my epiphany, and then later on when the request was accepted, I got to know that you already had a book published called '' 30 Career Lessons I Learnt Along The Way''.

That book alone changed a lot of things about me, I cannot say all of that here, but I consider it a privileged to listen to your teachings every day in church.

You do not just preach, you infuse practical ways and experience into your teachings.

I have tested some of your principles without you knowing, I remember one of the lessons you always espoused which is, shaking hands with firm hands.

I always put that at the back of my mind, anytime I get to shake hands, a sign of confidence as I have learned from you.

Should I talk about career teachings?

No that is another chapter itself.

Let me talk about what I have also noticed and perhaps one of the things that endeared me to you and the CHARIS FAMILY INTERNATIONAL CHURCH, It is the way you always make it a priority to give young people the opportunity to preach and teach while you also seat to listen to what they have to say.

This action is rare and I salute you for that.

I cannot also forget to mention, one of the unique steps you have taken for members of the Charis Family and even non-members, how you organized a free training on how to access the Tony Elumelu Foundation Grant last month at no cost to us all, using your personal funds and networks.

Thank you for everything sir.

What you teach every Sunday in church, I am sure if we were to pay for it, we will definitely go bankrupt, yet we enjoy this all for free.

Today as you begin this new age, my prayer is wherever your name Bayo Adeyinka is mentioned, the only answer will be and will always be ''Favour.''
