Happy 3rd Birthday, Infinitus!

Dear Infinitus,

Happy 3rd Birthday. Shyam and I are so proud of the company you are growing into. We still remember when you first started. You were just a pitch-deck. An idea inspired by a pain point described by Shailvi.

In the first year of being, you inspired the earliest Infinauts to join the journey and start helping you learn basic skills and abilities. They taught you to speak with humans, using phrases like prior authorization and step therapy which seem straightforward to you now, but continue to be incredibly complicated for so many of us that work in healthcare offices in the US.

As you started making phone calls, you learned about your external avatar: Eva Lightyear. Inspired by your distant cousin Buzz, you knew this was just the beginning of your journey To Infinitus & Beyond!

In your second year of being, you took a huge leap. You started making calls on behalf of tens of thousands of healthcare providers and starting to shine in ways we couldn't imagine a two year old could. There was nothing terrible about your twos. In fact, the entities that used you were excited to "create more capacity to help patients by automating repetitive payer-facing processes like phone calls" and saw that you could "get through calls around 30% quicker [with] quality [that] is around 10% higher than humans".

You also showed how doing good for the world is just part of your DNA. As the Covid-19 vaccines started becoming available, you helped the volunteers at VaccinateCA help families find available vaccination sites. This led you to your first TV appearance!

In your third year, you really started to grow wings. In additional to supporting the therapeutic areas of ophthalmology, you expanded to oncology, rheumatology, gynecology, neurology, pulmonology, cardiology and hematology while supporting calls being made to payers on both the major medical and the pharmacy benefit sides.

Ever since you were created, you've always wanted to do so much. Automate phone calls, rid the healthcare world of faxes, and let healthcare be about health care again. It's so clear to all of us that see you every day that you absolutely hate to see your human counterparts spend their time on tedious, repetitive tasks that just delay the therapy of patients and add to their incredibly high bills. Your time to do all of that will come. Each step you take on your automation journey, is a giant leap for healthcare.

As we celebrate your 3rd birthday, I'm so proud of everything you have become as well as everything you aspire to be. Keep dreaming, Infinitus. Think big, stay focused, and be the change.
