Happiness is...Pumpkin Pie

A short week. A short post.

In my day to day interactions with sales professionals and their leadership teams, our discussions are often laser-focused on business development, communication skills, pipeline activity (and volume), and a variety of other topics that help fuel success in sales.

A week like Thanksgiving, already focused on gratitude and appreciation, affords us an opportunity to reflect on our lives in general, our sense of purpose, and our career journeys. The holidays are a perfect time to deeply reflect on how we spend our days (both personally and professionally) and look to the future if new and bigger goals should be set (more on this as we get closer to the New Year!).

For now, my own list short about happiness. Inspired by Charles Schulz.

Happiness is...

• feeling a deep sense of purpose with the work that we do
• helping clients and businesses thrive
• experiencing joy in both our personal and professional lives
• hugging family members, even the ones we see often
• cooking for those who want to sit at our dinner table
• accelerating growth - both in personal and professional development - for sales professionals I support and interact with, it is a true honor
