THE HANDS OF PARENTS ON A MISSION
Richard Ramos
Speaker, Author, CEO - Founder of Parents on a Mission & Youth on a Mission
Below is my "Parents on a Mission" logo. I created the logo years ago because it depicts several important things about raising happy, healthy children.
First, the hands represent:
1. Security
2. Strength
3. Nurture
4. Affection
5. Stability
6. Protection
7. Comfort
Secondly, because of all of the above, life is growing steady, strong and healthy within the palms of the hands, which speaks volumes about the important role parents play in, not only the lives of their children, but in the life of the larger community as well.
It's been ten years that I've been training community leaders to teach my parent leadership curriculum. What a joy, privilege and a such an encouragement to watch the growth and hear the testimonials throughout the country of leaders, teachers, police, politicians, superintendents, executive directors, parents, and most recently prisoners throughout the State of Colorado, speak to the life transforming experience of Parents on a Mission.
Below is a link that will take you to a power point presentation put together by the POM leader and inmates from a prison in Limon, Colorado.
