DIRECTV NOW.NTSB REPORT FOCUSES ON TELSA'S AUTOPILOT

Tesla's Autopilot software shares some of the blame for the deadly crash of a Model S last year. According to the NTSB's ruling on Tuesday, the system created "operational limits" that contributed to the car driving into the side of a truck. The Autopilot function reportedly allowed the driver to go for long periods of time without steering or apparently even looking at the road. The driver did not have his hands on the wheel at the time of the accident. The ruling comes the same day Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao is expected to release new rules for self-driving cars. The regulations are expected to waive some safety requirements and get self-driving cars more quickly on the road.
