1.??????This Week's Hot Tips:
For many of us, it is time to consider a pivot, a repositioning, a fine-tuning, or a reimagination of our businesses. Whatever you would like to call it, change is inevitable in business… and life. We have to be ready, willing, and able to adapt to market conditions.
I have been spending quite a bit of time supporting clients through pivots as well as reshaping my own business. Here are a few things to noodle on:
2??Client Spotlight:
Congratulations to our very own client Sarah Meranda, founder of Magpie Mouse Studios as she celebrates the six-month anniversary of her first brick & mortar store and studio in the historic Pike Place Market in Seattle.
Sarah is a trained metalsmith with an emphasis on enamel. She uses her enamel jewelry to bring color and vibrancy to her art. Her pieces flawlessly combine her love of nature and cityscapes to make one-of-a-kind and unique jewelry.
We are so proud of Sarah’s resilience and discipline to bring this dream to life.?We can’t wait to see all that she will accomplish in the coming months.
If you are looking for a way to support her business, she would love to see you in Pike Place Market or on the interwebs .??

Last week, I spent a few days in Washington DC with Meta’s Leaders Network to advocate for small businesses.?

I am grateful for this invaluable experience, the opportunity to be a voice for my fellow entrepreneurs, the genuine care and generosity of my other amazing Washington-based business owners, and renewed sense of dedication from this event.
I am excited to continue to explore how I can support small business owners beyond coaching.
Special thanks to the team at Meta that made this possible, Ramsey Cox , Tristan Perrotti , Denida Grow , Chris Grow, Erin Alexander , Diane Najm , Christy Huhmann Ayala, and Jennifer Jedda .

5. Ask Keita:
Q. Hello Keita! The writing is on the wall. It’s time to adapt or shut my business down.?I am feeling very overwhelmed by what to do next.
A: ?My heart goes out to you right now. I am sure you have poured your heart and soul into your business. First, be kind to yourself. No need to beat yourself up right now or play the blame game.
Make your next decision from a place of resolve and strength. ?Then, take action.?The beauty of entrepreneurship is that we can iterate until we find what works.
If you are feeling like it is time to make a shift in your business, you don’t have to think through it all alone. I am extending a personal invitation to have a brainstorming session with me. Book some time here .
