The Hand-Raiser Technique To Generate Quick Leads
Have you ever heard of the hand-raiser technique for generating leads? It's a simple yet effective way to generate quick leads and boost your sales pipeline. And today I'm going to break this down so you can transform your lead generation efforts to generate interested, motivated leads.
Hi, I'm Tim Fitzpatrick with Rialto Marketing, where we believe you must remove your revenue roadblocks if you want to accelerate growth, and marketing shouldn't be difficult. Thank you so much for taking the time to tune in today.
So here's the question, when someone raises their hand, what are they doing? They're showing interest in what is being discussed. They're signaling their willingness to engage or commit something being offered or discussed. So this handraiser technique is not something new. It's not revolutionary. But a lot of people don't necessarily know about it, and they don't What do you think about it. So the handraiser technique is just simply meant to get interested people to show interest, to raise their hand, saying, Hey, I'm interested in what you're doing. So we want people to show interest and commit in what we have to offer. And that's what this handraiser does. You can use handraisers across a lot of your marketing efforts, whether it's email or social media posts, paid ads, all kinds of stuff. It's only limited to your imagination. So as I go through these, just think about, Hey, where are areas in my marketing that I can use some of these handraiser techniques? And what I'm going to share I want you are three of the most common ones that I think are the most powerful that you can use right now. Okay, so here they are.
The Most Powerful Handraiser Techniques
First one is, are you still or are you interested in? And what we're doing here is we want to focus on an outcome, not a vehicle. Are you interested in more clients instead of, are you interested in more leads? The more clients is the outcome. The vehicle tends to be more leads. And this can be used with past leads that didn't close, that you never heard back from, that ghosted you. You can just send one quick email. Are you still interested in blah, blah, blah? So really quick, easy to respond to, great way to follow up with past leads. The people that you've talked to that they just didn't go anywhere. So really simple one. Are you still or are you interested in? So it doesn't have to be past leads. It could be current people. But are you interested in in and then focus on a specific outcome.
Next one is need any. I'm a photographer. Do you need any photos this month? Do you need any new clients this month? Focus on a benefit and outcome that they might be interested in. So this could be a call to action at the end of a social post, for example, or a video. You go in, you create content that adds value, helps educate and serve your audience. And then, Hey, do you need any new photos this month? Or are you looking for, do you need any new clients this month? If so, let us reach out or place this specific comment in the comment field. See, this is not rocket science. These are not overly complicated. They're not super pushy. We're just asking a question, and we're giving people the opportunity to actually answer the question. A lot won't, but those that are interested will, and that's what we care about, is people that are interested and ready to move forward. Or at least showing interest in moving forward.
And then the last one is, would you like to join? I'm doing a workshop for people in July that want to create a high converting video sales letter. Would you like to join us? I'm doing a workshop for people in August who want to bring on their next five clients in the next 90 days. Would you like to join us? So we're talking about what it specifically is. Is it a workshop? Is it a challenge? Is it a cohort group, like a mastermind group that you're starting? When are you doing it and what's the outcome? What are you working towards? What's that promise? And then would you like to join us? Super simple.
Conclusion
So my question to you is, how can you use any or all of these handraisers in your marketing? This is not a one and done thing. You can use these over and over again all the time to make offers and to encourage people that may be interested to raise their hand. So again, those three handraisers, are you still or are you interested in, need any, and would you like to join? Three simple handraisers. Would love to hear your thoughts if you decide to use them.
