I want to share with you an event coming up that holds a special place in my heart, The Best Buddies Friendship Walk. 

Everybody needs a friend. But not everybody has one. It can be very hard for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to make connections on their own. Best Buddies matches them with a peer volunteer through their program “buddy pair.”

New friends open up a whole new world of opportunities, and donations from people like you and me make local Best Buddies programs possible.
