The Hamming Path For Achievement

Richard Hamming, born in Chicago, and one of the greatest computer scientists of his time was an inspiration of mine growing up and still is today.

He was famous for finding the shortest path of a given set of strings, but what most don't know is that he used those same theories for his personal achievement as well...

In his book, The Art of Doing Science and Engineering, Hamming talked about how simply setting a chief aim for your life can exponentially increase the speed at which you get there.

My favorite part of Sundays is getting to do exactly that! I love making time to reflect on my week, and plan out the goals for next week too!

I think the easiest thing we can do to live a life well lived is to make at least 30 minutes each week to plan out what we'd like to accomplish for the week.

As an added bonus for reading my post today, I have attached a template how what I use to plan out my goals for the week including a daily planner that I use each day.

You can find it here: https://www.dhirubhai.net/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7101718151515537408?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

I spent years researching productivity hacks in developing this planner because being someone who was born with absolutely ZERO innate abilities, I have needed to push my way towards achievement in every way possible.

These planners have changed my life, and I hope that leaving them here for you on LinkedIn will do the same!
