Supporting travel training
A big well done to young person Joe who kindly offered to support another young person with their travel training.
He said,?“Anna's trip today was amazing, we did so well. We started off in Woking, had a look around there, then we travelled from Woking to Chertsey. We then changed at Chertsey and went straight to Virginia Water. I feel so proud today I've learnt a new route, and I've helped another young person travel independently.”
Family Network Award
We are thrilled to have been awarded Charity of the Year at the Family Network Business Recognition Awards.
It was a lovely evening and we are so delighted to have our work recognised. Thank you to The Family Network for your support, and to our staff, volunteers, and young people for making?halow?such a fantastic charity!
Encouraging others to look after nature
halow?young person Robbie recently gave a lovely talk to a class of eight and nine year olds. He shared his knowledge of the importance of looking after the wildlife around us. He then made wildflower seed bombs with them which the children threw around the school grounds.
The class has asked if he would do some more sessions like this and he is very happy to.
We are so proud of Robbie for having the confidence to teach others about looking after our environment. This is an exciting step for him in his independence and we look forward to seeing how his teaching progresses.

#Perfect10 this month!
We are so excited for the 10th year of the epic Halow250! This annual charity bike ride, organised by 2Boats Events, challenges 100+ riders to cycle 250 miles from London to France in just 48 hours. After returning to Godalming, they will be greeted by?halow?young people, supporters, friends, and family for a finale celebration event. We can’t wait to thank them for their amazing efforts.
Be sure to cheer them on from Friday 28 - Sunday 30 April.
