PDR has been a great boon to residential supply chain in York particularly to the first time buyer

All the office conversions we have done have sold like hot cakes to first time buyers and we are keen for more but of course with the changes to stamp duty and tax breaks for second home buyers we will slow down developing, thereby reducing supply with consequences far beyond next year.

Why the Government wants to slow supply down by making it more difficult for investors to buy we don't understand?  as this will just slow supply again and force up prices. Its madness and political knee jerk stuff not thinking about the long term effects!

BUT at least schemes like this help the starter buyer and long may it continue
