Halloweenomics: business and marketing potential of Halloween
Halloween was brought by the Irish and British migrants to the United States where it became a holiday that can now only be compared to Christmas when it comes to its marketing and business potential. In 2023, it is expected that American consumers will spend around $12.2 billion on Halloween festivities (surpassing the record set in 2022 at $10.6 billion). For comparison, this figure was $9.1 billion in 2017.
